It seems that it has become the everyday phenomenon to label each and every muslim as a terrorist as if all are a hand in glove in the heinous terrorist acts.
Can someone tell me why only muslims are being forced to live with this tag of terrorist , why not the other communities? If an imam speaks something he is at once declared a fanatic, anti-Indian and we get volley of replies on net and newspapers but no such declaration is done, when the likes of togadia’s and modi’s split venom.
No amount of time has been taken while banning SIMI organization because it’s a muslim organization but why no ban is ever placed on RSS, VHP when they create mayhem in the country, destroy buildings, vandalize paintings and other arts. Why do Indians follow such double standards.
I am not favoring one religion and malign others because that is not the teaching of my religion, but indubitably I want to know why muslims are always made the target? Many a times these attacks may be the handiwork of some external sources but blame is always put on Indian muslims.
Is it necessary for us to always carry a tag of loyalty and patriotism on our shoulders? After all how many rest of the community people are jingoistic?
Patriotism comes from within the heart and its always there, it is not something to shown or displayed. Its quite amusing only when the people wave flags they are declared loyal to their country.
Indian Muslims are and will always remain loyal and devoted citizens of this country, indubitably its quite difficult to move forward with the ‘terrorist’ tag but hope such tag is also given to others as well who too are in no way worse than terrorists. It’s a pity and a shame
It’s really tragic that your heart bleeds for SIMI ,which has alleged links with foreign terrorists .

The ideological affinity with Hamas was revealed by SIMI’s financial secretary Salim Sajid following his arrest in June 2002. According to Sajid, Hamas’ former spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmad Yasin had endorsed the ”freedom struggle” in India’s Jammu and Kashmir state and the reconstruction of the demolished Babri Masjid in Uttar Pradesh (Times of India, June 29, 2002). Sajid’s interrogation also exposed SIMI’s covert connections with Saudi Arabia’s Jamayyatul Ansar (JA) and Bangladesh’s Islamic Chhatra Shivir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh (Times of India, June 29, 2002). JA is primarily comprised of expatriate Indian Muslims working in Saudi Arabia and is suspected of channeling funds to SIMI. Other sources of funding have included the World Assembly of Muslim Youth in Riyadh, the International Islamic Federation of Students Organizations based in Kuwait and the U.S.-based Consultative Committee of Indian Muslims (The Hindu, September 28, 2001).
Additionally, Pakistani terrorist outfits like Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) have had strong logistical and operational ties to SIMI. In late 2002, Maharashtra police seized as many as 30 compact discs containing speeches of Maulana Masood Azhar, chief of Jaish-e-Muhammad, along with clippings of communal riots in Gujarat from SIMI offices in Aurangabad. Furthermore, there is clear evidence of operational ties between HM militants and SIMI. The arrest of Sayeed Shah Hasseb Raza and Amil Pervez with explosives in the Kolkata railway station in 2002 substantiated earlier claims of terror ties. Both Raza and Pervez were senior members of SIMI and earlier worked for HM. Investigation officers believed that the duo were in Kolkata to carry out subversive activities and recruit youth for jihadi activities (Times of India, March 2, 2002).

Obviously the reasons are not enough to ban VHP and other similar organisations. If you don’t know, the bans have to meet critical judicial scrutiny of the court. Now don’t say that the government, the judiciary and the bureaucracy are all biased. Remember, India had 3 Muslim presidents, 2 Muslim Chief justices and many Muslim Chief ministers.
The terrorist tag on Muslims has got stuck to them after a lot of hard work by the community to earn it.
The picture is manipulated. The Taj faces south. Muslims don’t pray northwards in India.
As far as your comment (The terrorist tag on Muslims has got stuck to them after a lot of hard work by the community to earn it) is concerned, you sound like the Hindu counterpart of Ayman al-Zawahiri.
ITS AGENDA IS VERY CLEAR, IST IS COUNTRY AND NOTHING IS OTHER THAN COUNTRY, AND IF ANYBODY COMPARE THIS ORGANIZATION WITH SIMI AND HURRIYAT ITS MEAN HE DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE RSS OUR NATION AND WAHAT IS THE FARE NATIONAL THOUGHT.
Many thanks to all of you, for putting your hearts and souls into your observations. Such a bent of mind is necessary to curb the growth of separatist’s views in the nation. Let’s not forget that ghosts of Muslim League have once again come alive in this nation .It’s time for souls like you to give a fitting reply to those harbouring the wish of another division of India.
I agree with you that Hindus have always been tolerant towards other religion. The reason lies in the humane principles environing the Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism. It’s tragic that Hindus are paying a heavy price for exhibiting this tolerance .We are living in a strange world wherein good attributes of the human life have been painted in wrong colours . Probably, this is why talk about restoration of Hindu ideals is treated as communalism while extension of jehadi spirit is considered to be mark of secularism. It’s time to kill this double standard.
It seems like you’re only too tempted to say ”you Indians” in the last line!!
If you think that SIMI is a harmless organization then please don’t blame the rest of the nation in branding each and every Muslim a terrorist!!!
If you’re going to support a terror outfit then that’s the label that you’re going to get and of you love the label then why crib???
As for the self-righteous Hindu outfits, you should know that the ordinary Hindus don’t support the kinda violence they propagate... and the masses you see rallying behind them are just Bhade ke Tattu... The same kinds that you see at most political rallies...
Regular middle class Hindus aren’t out there participating in stalling and vandalizing and destroying the nation that is built mostly from their hard earned Tax rupees!!!
P.S. I have nothing against the Muslims of anywhere... But any Muslims living in India who cannot muster up any compassion for the lives of their compatriots are most welcome to go live in Pakistan!!!
